Just a few comments from a concert at The Bridgewater Hall, Manchester - reviewer Malcolm Wood

The National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain under the leadership of Artistic Director, Bramwell Tovey shone like a constellation of stars.

A performance of vibrant energy and admirably tight ensemble in Peter Graham’s Shine as the Light.

The elegiac ‘Nocturne’ displayed a loving tenderness that belied their youthful years….

The symbiotic musical relationship between MD and band was clear for everyone to appreciate; players responding immediately to his nuanced encouragement to produce quite remarkable music making.
