Friends of the NYBB (and NCBB)
This is an organisation set up for the mutual benefit of its members and of the two bands it supports. Membership is open to anyone – former members, parents and friends of current members and all who admire these two flagships of the world of brass bands.
Members are kept informed about activities and developments within the two bands by means of a News Letter, issued from time to time. They also have the opportunity to claim discounts on concerts given by the bands and also on the widely acclaimed CD recently made by the NYBB. As the organisation grows it provides the means of keeping in touch with other members.
The minimum fee for membership is £20 per year – more is always welcome! This can be paid by cash, cheque or Standing Order. Standing Orders may be paid annually, quarterly or monthly. For tax payers there is also the opportunity to contribute further through Gift Aid, which allows us to reclaim some of the money you’ve paid to the Inland Revenue, without cost to yourself. The money collected is invested to help secure the future of the NYBB and the NCBB.
